Last Sunday Rev. Roger Baker took as his theme the opening verses of Revelation – the God who was, is now and is to come, read to us by Jill Barnett.
God’s nature is eternal and unchanging spanning all time, the Creator, deliverer and redeemer of individuals. He is present in every moment today, loving and faithful, our refuge and strength. He longs for us to love him. He brings hope, a purpose to everything, a plan for everyone.

In John 13-14, read by Neil Barnett, Jesus offered breakfast by the sea to his disciples and showed them that their past failings were cancelled. He gave them a purpose to go on serving him.

Similarly our past mistakes are forgiven. God has a future for us. We must trust him to take us beyond our present limitations.
We sang and reflected on Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty… he is worthy to be praised.

Our service concluded with the hymn Crown him with many crowns followed by a blessing.
