We hold in our prayers the Ukrainian family of Natalia and Andrii, both music teachers, and their children, Roman , Anya and Liza. Escaping the horrors of war in their home country, they fled to Poland and are now settling in at the Birmingham home of Amy ( the granddaughter of church members Ron and Cynthia Lucas) and Owen who are helping to arrange places in local schools for the children. The family are also making good use of a new laptop, donated by the Rotary Club of Newcastle under Lyme with the help of a special grant to assist Ukrainians coming to flee the war.
